International 14 World Championship 2020

This prestigious yachting event is held every 18 months and alternates between the Southern and Northern Hemispheres. In 2020 it is Perth that will play host to this festival of sailing.
The honour goes to the Perth Dinghy Sailing Club in Crawley. Competing countries select five of their top boats and crews to battle it out on the waves on Matilda Bay.
It is widely anticipated that this will be the greatest skiff sailing regatta that Western Australia has seen for some time.
The Perth Moon Festival

This cultural event has been gaining popularity every year from its inception. All the activities take place under the rising full moon and feature photographic exhibitions, live music, and plenty of local food and drink.
It really is a community event and takes place at stunning Matilda Bay. Not only can you see the incredible moonrise but have fun with all the activities that will be taking place.
There is even a large telescope that visitors can take advantage of to get up and personal with the night sky. Families are welcome as the event starts at 6pm and ends at 10.30pm.
Fringe World on the Water

The 2020 Perth Fringe Festival will feature a unique event on the 1st of February 2020. The star attraction will be the Fringe World Show which will actually take place on a cruise trip.
All the fun and games will happen at the intimate Vasco da Gama at the Fremantle Port. And if you want to attend then act swiftly is this is a one night only event. There will be cabaret acts and various other live performances to enjoy at this spectacular event.
Sculpture at Bathers

The biennial Sculpture at Bathers exhibition returns to Bathers Beach in Fremantle early in 2020. This unique arts exhibition showcases the exceptional talent of Western Australian sculptors and artists.
Some of the exhibits on show will feature innovative work from local artists such as Sarah Elson, and Nic Compton. Seeing these amazing sculptures on the sandy beach is really quite amazing.
