Formula 1 Grand Prix

For petrolheads the greatest event has to be the F1 Grand Prix. And in 2020 there will be more to this Formula 1 Rolex Australian Grand Prix than there has ever been before.
F1 brings together the world’s biggest motor stars as the supercharged cars race around the Albert Park Grand Prix Circuit. Expect Lewis Hamilton and co to be in attendance along with Australia’s own Daniel Ricciardo.
No matter if you are not a motor racing fan you will love this glamorous and star-studded event. Melbourne will be rocking when the F1 bandwagon rolls into time.
ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2020

The final of this year’s ICC Women’s T20 World Cup will be held at the fabulous MCG, actually on International Women’s Day.
The Junction Oval will host five of the group matches including the prestigious Australia v New Zealand game. Both teams will be looking for a semifinal place so it is stacked up to be a thriller.
The widely anticipated final at the Melbourne Cricket Ground will present a unique opportunity to set a new world record attendance at an all female sporting event.
The Presidents Cup

Not quite in 2020 but an event definitely worth mentioning is the 2019 Presidents Cup. The event will take place at the Royal Melbourne Golf Club and it will be the first club to host this prestigious event three times.
The Presidents Cup is one of the most widely watched golf tournaments in the world as the best players from the USA face off against the cream of the rest of the world.
