The Yarra Valley is home to some of the best wineries in the region and the Shedfest Festival makes it a great time visit. Shedfest is an annual event which is usually held on the second weekend in October. It is now in it’s 16th year and it was established to showcase the many family owned vineyards and wineries in the Yarra Valley Region.

It first opened its doors to the public in 1992 showcasing applied technology of the gigantic machines, vast collections of immersive exhibitions, electrifying theatre in the Lightning room, and the deep space of the Melbourne Planetarium. Scienceworks is located in Spotswood, Victoria and across the century–old historic Pumping Station.
The 2018 Chinese New Year Festival in Melbourne will showcase once again traditional and modern Chinese cultural activities, dances, festivities, arts and crafts, dragon parades, lion dances, karaoke and chess competitions together with plenty of Chinese culinary food stalls.
