Christmas Concerts
Here is What’s On Sydney This Christmas!
Alexandria Village Christmas Concert (2nd December 2017) & Slurry Hills Village Christmas Concert (3rd December 2017) - This is a great family friendly concert which is completely free to go and see. There are some children’s favorites such as Nay Nay Let's Play, Australian Girls Choir, Caravan Sun and The Listies.
There are also some great craft activities to enjoy, table tennis and even giant Jenga with the Christmas Elves.
Also Santa will make an appearance with a special firework display also. You will be able to purchase a Santa stocking which will be packed with goodies and are on sale for $5. All proceeds will be going to Variety who are a children’s charity.
Rushcutters Bay Village Christmas Concert (9th December 2017) & Rosebery Village Christmas Concert (10th December 2017) - Again, these are both family friendly concerts with an experience of magic from a visit from Santa.
At Rushcutters Bay village there will be MC Emma Palmer from Play School who will introduce you to the Bananas in Pyjamas, childrens entertainers Peter Combe and Sone Veneno and also a performance from Splash dance and the 7 Sopranos.
Alice’s Adventures In Wonderland
Located in Chinatown & Haymarket between the 5th and the 22nd December. A fantastic performance for the entire family, presented by the Australian Ballet, Alice In Wonderland.
The event will be a magical touch to the Christmas period and will be a spectacular broadway performance which will bring fantasy to a reality.
They will be performing alongside the puppets with amazing on-stage illusions which will bring to whole performance and characters to life.
Carols By The Sea
Carols By The Sea is held on the 13 December 2017 in Bondi Park.
This fantastic event will bring the whole community together and celebrate in the spirit of Christmas. In the evening there will be entertainment from local young musicians which will be followed by plenty of Christmas favourites and carol singing.
For the kids there will also be face painting available, a sausage sizzle and plenty of glow-sticks for sale. All the proceeds will go to local charities.
